The hydraulic press is a machine made according to Pascal's principle to realize the processing technology. It is a machine that uses liquid as the working medium and uses the static pressure of the liquid to process metal, rubber, powder and other products through the change of pressure. Hydraulic presses can be divided into hydraulic presses and oil presses according to the different liquid media inside. The hydraulic presses mainly use the control of water-oil balance and the transmission of static pressure to work. The hydraulic press is a kind of oil cylinder/piston that drives the hydraulic pipeline through the power of the hydraulic pump by using a special hydraulic oil as the medium. Through the coordination and cooperation between the various components, a certain amount of power is generated, so as to achieve the machining of the machinery. Also known as the four-column hydraulic press, the four-column hydraulic press is mainly used in the processing technology of plastic materials.

There are two main types of hydraulic presses: according to structural form and according to main purpose. According to the structure, it can be divided into four-column type, single-column type, vertical type, horizontal type and so on. According to the main purpose, it can be divided into powder molding, stretch molding, extrusion molding, bending molding and so on.
