Features of CNC Vertical Lathe
The CK518B vertical lathe machine features a thermally symmetrical overall structure, effectively balancing thermal deformation during machining. It utilizes a Taiwanese brand spindle with tapered roller bearings for radial positioning, ensuring high accuracy. Axial positioning employs large, high-precision thrust bearings, providing strong load-bearing capacity and significantly superior rotational accuracy compared to traditional vertical lathes. By eliminating the traditional hydrostatic and hydrodynamic systems, it avoids the difficulties of starting under heavy loads, the complexity of hydraulic system maintenance, and the susceptibility to hydrostatic guide rail wear and seizing common in traditional vertical lathes, greatly reducing customer operating costs.
The single-column vertical lathe is a general-purpose lathe in the vertical lathe series. It is suitable for turning and drilling various small and medium-sized ring parts, housings and flanges, as well as reaming, boring and other machining operations. It is widely used in the machining of various disc-shaped parts.
The CNC vertical lathe features a high-strength, box-shaped column made of high-strength resin sand castings, offering high strength and stability. The crossbeam is positioned and mounted on the column by linear guides, and the two movement options utilize fixed blocks for tightening, enhancing machine rigidity and ensuring high rigidity during machining.
The single-column CNC vertical lathe is equipped with a high-power servo spindle motor, a low-speed, high-torque motor that provides powerful torque for heavy cutting.
The X and Z axes of the CNC vertical lathe use linear roller guides, size 45, to ensure optimal positioning and repeatability accuracy, and long-term durability.
The CNC vertical lathe body is designed using computer-aided CAD, featuring a rational structure and high stability and rigidity.
The machine bed is integrally cast from Meehanite cast iron, offering superior shock absorption and damping performance, as well as higher strength. Furthermore, it undergoes a second annealing stress-relief treatment, making the machine tool more stable and durable.
The integral slant bed casting structure further enhances the overall rigidity, stability, and durability of the machine bed.
The CNC lathe's universal spindle unit offers high precision and convenient maintenance, contributing to the long-term accuracy of the entire machine.
Applications of CNC Vertical Lathe
CK518B vertical lathe machines are particularly suitable for the precision machining of key components such as wheel hubs, differentials, motor housings, brake discs, flanges, and bearings. It can complete multiple processes such as turning, boring, and threading of complex curved surfaces in one operation, significantly reducing positioning errors caused by multiple clamping operations in traditional machining.
In terms of automation integration, by selecting gantry robots or articulated robots, unmanned machining units can be built, achieving full automation from blank loading and machining to finished product inspection. This effectively avoids quality defects caused by human error fluctuations or tool wear, and improves the workpiece processing pass rate.
