Hydraulic Press for Press Forming of SMC Products
Hydraulic Press for Press Forming is used for both thermosetting and thermoplastic material molding. They are primarily used for composite materials such as SMC, BMC, DMC, GMT, and LFT-D. The speed and pressure of the press's slide are adjustable within a specified range, and controllable pre-compression is possible to increase the material flow rate within the mold and shorten the pressing time.
Our hydraulic press for press forming of smc products can perform functions such as rapid descent, pre-pressurization, venting, operation, pressure holding, pressure reduction, slow mold opening, rapid return, slow demolding, rapid ejection, ejection holding, and rapid return. Venting can also be equipped with segmented functions, pressure compensation, multi-point temperature control, and rapid pressurization.
During the pressing process, the FRP product hydraulic press features automatic venting and a micro-opening function on the slide return stroke, allowing the molded product to slowly detach from the mold, preventing tearing and deformation. The press can be equipped with a light curtain safety protection device and a hydraulic locking device to prevent slide slippage during mold installation. The hydraulic system is equipped with two sets of in-mold core-pulling control systems and a preset in-mold ejection control system; multi-point ejection and air blowing functions can be added.
The hydraulic press for press forming of smc products is equipped with a high-speed moving worktable driven by hydraulic cylinders. An ejector device located outside the four columns works in conjunction with the moving worktable to achieve external mold changing and product removal. The electrical system uses a PLC programmable logic controller, ensuring sensitive and reliable operation, and is equipped with photoelectric protection devices.

● The working pressure, stroke, pressing speed, and return speed of the four-column hydraulic press can all be adjusted within specified parameter ranges according to process requirements.
● This series of hydraulic presses adopts an independent power mechanism and electrical system, and uses centralized button control, enabling manual and semi-automatic operation. The machine is sensitive and easy to use, with low noise and stable pressure, meeting the needs of different production processes.

◆ Holding Time: 60-70 seconds/mm
◆ Molding Pressure: 10-20 MPa The specific process depends on the product and mold structure. The thicker the product, the lower the temperature should be. Generally, the molding temperature is 135℃-145℃. The more complex the shape, the higher the molding pressure.
