The types of chip conveyors available are chain plate type, scraper type, or magnetic scraper type. The chain plate type chip conveyor is suitable for collecting and conveying various types of coiled, clumped, and block-shaped chips; the scraper type chip conveyor is suitable for conveying chips of copper, aluminum, cast iron, etc.; the magnetic scraper type chip conveyor is mainly used for conveying cast iron chips shorter than 150 mm in wet machining. The chip conveyors are all automatic and their start and stop can be controlled by M commands.
